It is with pleasure that I am submitting this letter of reference for Emily Edwards, event planner extraordinaire.

Being a high-end catering company by trade, we have worked with many event planners over the years.
There have been some good ones and a few not so great. So it goes without saying that when we meet a
planner for the first time, we are somewhat skeptical.

The first event that we orchestrated with Emily was a very high-end wedding and to add extra stress to the
situation it was for two event planners from out of state. I immediately had sympathy for Emily as I knew the
details and planning would be vast and complicated. I also knew the clients would be very demanding and
insist on only the highest standards available.

Over the next 6 months I found Emily to be organized, thorough, communicative and easy to get along with.
I felt relieved knowing that she was taking care of all the aspects of the party that can really make our job as
the caterer either a dream or a nightmare. Emily leaves nothing to chance and thinks of the ramifications of
every nuance of the event. Her level-headedness and calm demeanor can steady even
the most flustered bride. She is helpful in whatever capacity she is needed and always steps up to meet a
challenge.

I am impressed with Emily Edwards as an event planner enough now that I refer her to clients for
events other than weddings.
