"My niece got married two years ago. Her best piece of advice (and she gave us A LOT of GOOD advice) was "get a us with "day of" coordination, but she was there for us long before. She knows how to listen and looked to ensure our dreams were fulfulled, offering support and suggestions when we didn't know what could be done nor worked with us on budget, reviewed contracts before we signed them, and when we drew a blank suggested vendors. She really made that last week before the event easy. Drew up timelines for everyone (participants, vendors ...) coordinated the rehearsal, took care of all the vendor interfaces and in general let me sleep nights.
