Ambiance / Design Elements:

This couple had a traditional Indian Wedding weekend. They hired us from the beginning to make sure that everything was not only organized and beautiful, but so that they could relax and enjoy their family and guests.

The weekend included a Mehendi Party on Thursday, a Pithi Ceremony and Welcome Dinner on Friday, the Ceremony, Luncheon, Cocktails and Dinner on Saturday, and Breakfast on Sunday.

For the ceremony, the Groom rode in on a horse for the Baarat Ceremony accompanied by a traditional Dohl player. Inside, the Bride was a bit more non-traditional and had a palette of gold, peach and ivory (rather than the bold colors you see more often) for the mandap.  The most prominent element was the custom lighting design we had displayed on all the walls and down the center of the aisle.

For the cocktail hour and dinner, we incorporated some more vintage inspired elements including candelabras, stacked books wrapped in black paper, blushing bride proteas, succulents, spotted feathers, and lots of candlelight.

The guests dined on a traditional Indian buffet meal and enjoyed an amazing dance party well into the night.
